The 5 stars are really for the food, as I had a take out Fish Fry. It was probably the best I've ever had. The fish had some seasoning that took away the need for tartar sauce, but their sauce was delicious and I ended up dipping the fries in it. What G Martinez doesn't like about Tryon City Tavern:
I purchased the burger plate, th mac salad was good but the rest of the plate was not, fries didn't taste fresh, the burger was dry with no cheese. We also ordered th boneless wings with garlic parmesan, I think they purchased the chicken from Walmart, it was compressed meat, not chicken breast. Won't be returning. I will tell everyone I know not to eat there. View all feedback.
The loaded fries were really good. Nice little spot. Would definitely visit again
Best food in town. The bar food was great. I had the Chicken sandwich with country sweet sauce and blue cheese. It was delicious

Wings were perfect, fries were great, salad was blah.
Great little neighborhood spot. Good food and a nice beer list, with some unexpectedly good options.
