Such an adorable restaurant with amazing food! The original restaurant we chose in Rochester had too much of a wait time so we found this place on google and we decided to give it a shot. What Lamar Burrows doesn't like about The Owl House:
The atmosphere was very nice even though the place is small. The servers at this restaurant are great and have good knowledge of the the menu. Now for the food it's just okay. I feel like it's all over price and most likely I will not return. View all feedback.
Made reservations. Got right in. Had great drinks. Excellent variety of delicious food.
Such an adorable restaurant with amazing food! The original restaurant we chose in Rochester had too much of a wait time so we found this place on google and we decided to give it a shot. We parked across the road in the public parking lots that we paid for 2 hours and walked over. This place is so cozy and felt like you were coming over to someone’s home for dinner! We have a mix group of vegetarian/gluten free/omnivores so this place met our every need! I got the special which was a pasta with blush sauce and mozzarella and tempeh. The food was so good we forgot to take photos of it! We would be happy to go back to this restaurant when we come back up to Rochester.
Comfortable chill establishment in a house. Good vegetarian options.
We sat on the patio and it was the perfect night. Loved the little place. The chickpea burger was fine, but the beef burger was EXCELLENT. Rosemary fries were also good. Our waitress was super sweet. Highly recommend.
Owl house is a great local spot to eat with excellent food, great variety, and good prices. They have great options for people with allergies and people who are vegetarian/vegan, but still have great classics like chicken sandwiches and burgers with fries. I'd recommend coming with a reservation because they do fill up pretty fast, especially on the weekends. The patio is lovely in the summer so definitely choose that if you have the option. The inside can be a little echoey/noisy at times but that's really the only drawback. If you get dessert, which you definitely should, I highly recommend the chocolate mousse with cashews, it's a must have every time I go. Dietary restrictions: Many of the dishes are or can be gluten free and/or vegan.
