As Evi Turkish Cuisine - St Roch

I traveled to Rochester from Buffalo and had to stop here as I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while. Food was fresh and delicious, and staff was kind and accommodating. Highly recommended! Also they have a small prayer room across the men’s bathroom which was very convenient.

I don't often leave a review unless I had a negative experience. I just don't think to. But my partner and I had such an excellent experience last night at As Evi, that I feel compelled to write. If you're in Rochester NY, this place is a must! Excellent tasting authentic Turkish food.

Absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients and made to order food makes such a huge difference. Looks can be deceiving, looks like a standard storefront but this food is *art* Lentil soup and Turkish coffee we're both wonderful.

Delicious Turkish food. The mixed grill was really good especially the lamb chops and doner meat. Cheese mushrooms pide was good too. The gyro (doner meat) sandwich was tasty. It was so so big. So if you really hungry that what you should order. The sandwich needs to be a bit more saucy so you may want to ask for extra white sauce.
