Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of help with baggage and responsiveness. Bathroom and shower were modern and clean. Nearby shopping is great. Pool and spa were first rate. I would recommend this hotel for the weary traveller.

The place is really pretty and conveniently located, with rooms in classic alpine wood. They also offer complimentary transport to the train station. My only comment is the fact that we asked for an extra hour to check out on a Tuesday (and not in busy season) and they wanted to charge us 150 CHF. Disappointing a hotel of this quality and price still wants to squeeze a little more money out of you when they could’ve just said yes.

Great location, easy to get everywhere. Food recommend to order twice as i got kids portion for €20. Disappointed with service as was in rush, and have to chase 3x for a bill. At the end of the visit waiter asked me for extra cash for service charge which was also included on bill and then I have noticed I have double paid

Stayed at Steffani and booked dinner for Christmas Eve. Overall “far too much salt!!” which obviously disguises any subtle flavour. I ordered the sole with tarragon and polenta and tarragon undistinguished due to salt. Why sole? The lake has incredibly tasteful Perch? Also need to get a chef that understands how to deliver fine dining in the 21st century. This means excellent quality local seasonal produce, delivered with flavour and balance

We have been lucky to find a table for dinner without reservation just before the New Year. The decor is simple, traditional and cozy (not luxurious in any way). We had Steffani fondue and meat fondue and some other mains. Steffani fondue had way too much white wine this was all you could taste. We did not manage to finish it. My husband has really enjoyed his meat fondue. And our son loved his steak. The deserts were really yummy as well. Some good quality gelato. Great meal, even though much more expensive then what we have use to paying in Uk (steak around 65 CHF, fondue around 40 50 CHF per person)Tap water is chargeable, around 4 CHF per bottle. But this is St Moritz, I guess, the place for world elite :)Staff were very welcoming and service was speedy and with a smile.

Great location to the ski slopes, charming decor, lovely hotel main areas, however small stuffy rooms and very small sauna area. Wonderful staff (especially the reception), overly expensive as everything in StM unfortunately.

Food is not as good as we thought. You expect more from the oldest restaurant in St. Moritz. Service is slow and the side dishes have no taste at all.

Hotel is centrally located; a good 5-7 minutes walk to the Terrasse Panoramique (observation deck) of lake St Moritz. And is about 10-15 minutes walk to the leaning tower of St Moritz. The room is spacious with modern bathroom; hotel lobby is a bit small. Staff are courteous. The breakfast buffet selection is minimal and is the main drawback. The dinner is as disappointing as the breakfast. But other than food, the hotel is a good place to stay. The hotel is perfect for those who are passing through St Moritz. We didn’t have enough time (less than 24 hours). St Moritz was included in our tour as we traveled from Zermatt via Glacier express. We will consider staying again if we ever come back.

With my family for lunch. the service started bad (we did not give menus until we asked) but was better. the food was overrated for Swiss standards. lazy and tasteless. from all restaurants, canteens, etc. I was in my life, I never have. meals that were tasteless. not even salt could save her. suppe, ossobucco, ravioli, ... to add: the entrecote for a steep came with effortless sides. potato croquettes seemed to be a super market. nicely cooked straight in water. dito for the escalotte of the child. the cocktails were ok, but rather minimal. I am aware that many Swiss restaurants offer “Hero” and “Findus” quality food and that’s lustful enough. but this comfortable eating for high prices to offer and manage to all the remaining taste is beyond my imagination.

When we came to the restaurant, the waiters were quite rude. we have asked for some water, and they have brought us a bottle of water, so they can live naturally, but what happened next was a big no no no no. we ordered chateaubriand (it should be a big soft steak from bark meat) the steak was definitiw not from bark meat, because it was a bright color and not like bark meats anymore, it was no file chateau. a lockbriand weighs in the rule from somewhere so that this steak was max, which is the size of a datei mignon. Moreover, we had to pay for a tiny, not beautiful steak over franken (for two people). absolutely unhappy! would not recommend!

This is a lively restaurant very popular with locals. Initially, the waiter wouldn’t let us enter as he didn’t recognise our covid pass but the MaitreD intervened and all was well. Sat indoors as it was cold but the outside terrace was full with a...great atmosphere. Enjoyed a delicious meal of weiner schnitzel and panacotta. Good value food and rose wine.

My wife and I ended eating here twice during our off-season, stay in St. Moritz. From the get-go, we were impressed by the restaurant's strict adherence to requiring proof of a pass sanitaire, and how all the wait staff were fully and correctly masked....Throughout, the staff were courteous, attentive (but not overly so) and efficient. Most seemed to speak three languages at least (Italian, German, and English). We were not disappointed by the food and the wine either. For dinner we enjoyed venison stew, and one of their less expensive wines by the glass (which was actually quite good). We were charged for water, but it was filtered water and less per liter than at many restaurants. The following day we returned for fondue, washed down with a half bottle of Fendant (a white, Swiss wine). The fondue was good and copious, served with cubes of what seemed like somewhat whole-wheat bread. The restaurant's ambiance is relaxing: the music playing in the background is subtle, and the decor attractive (with dozens of caricatures of locals on the walls). All in all, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal and pleasant evening service was quick and friendly. Excellent Picata of veal with delicious Risotto and home made Ravioli. An Italian twist. Restaurant was full of locals, which is always a good sign.
