Dover Bar - St. Louis Park

So many issues with staff and the time it took to get the meals out, tables in bad shape, etc. Not worth going into detail because I will not return. It used to be such a nice restaurant

Had to wonder if I'd made a bad choice for a restaurant. Had a Sunday reservation and walked into an empty restaurant and it's located in a large hotel. We split an appetizer rueben rollups which was hot, crispy and delicious! We both ordered their soupsaladslider lunch special and we both commented on how good our food selections were...and you can't beat a nice hot creamy wild rice soup on a cold day! Staff was very attentive how could they not be as they weren't busy and friendly

We chose this venue for its Thanksgiving buffet. We were seated immediately in an open atrium outside of the restaurant. Since we had never been to this restaurant, we did not know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised by everything on the buffet. We found the fruit very fresh and the cranberry stuffing was excellent. Tastes varied with the turkey I found it dry but my husband enjoyed it. Everyone also enjoyed the desserts. The only detraction were the people at the pool at least that's what we thought it was we could not see it but we could certainly hear the children talking loudly and playing there

The food was great!! I ordered the Salmon with risotto. AMAZING!! Had eaten their food before as a guest in the hotel for room service, but don't recall it being as good. Something to be said for actually being in the restaurant. It was a Monday night, so there were a few Monday night football fans watching the game as well as a baseball playoff game going on. We sat in the restaurant side as opposed to the bar side and it was quiet enough. Would definitely go back again

My grilled cheese with speck was delicious and my hospit has her mac and really liked with huhn. our food came out quickly and our server, nod, was extremely attentive. I will definitely return!
