Had a really pleasant evening at Mr Wolf on a rainy Tuesday. This was our first visit, and we left suitably impressed.Service was friendly and efficient and we appreciated the complimentary olives for starters and the cabbage salad that came out with mains.We shared zucchini fritters, calamari and meatballs for starters. I was so excited to return to our old Fav. Pizza joint post lockdown, but sad to find that it has been acquired by people without hospitality skills or food and wine knowledge. Overall contrast to Karen Martini who built this place on their great skills) They poured a corked wine, had no idea to offer a "taste before casting" tried to clear our plates while still full, stacked chairs while we still eat and lacked any... Sad to say goodbye to an old favorite, but to close the door now!
Use to be here regularly, but then the pizza base changed. We always have the aubergine thunderstorms that were not disappointed again. The best pizza of the night was the Salicce.
This place was amazing! The food was great and the service was even better. You were very warm to our group. The food was absolutely delicious and my 10 months old LOVED the lasagna. ALSO, my child needed an unfortunate change, and the owner and the staff gave us a place to change his anger that helped us so much. We appreciate their great service and recommend them to anyone who visits Melbourne.
Mr. Wolf is a modern pizzeria in St Kilda that provides exactly what it promises. Delicious antipasti, great pizza, friendly service and beautiful ambience.
I noticed the Patate Pizza (delicious) is best on Sunday evenings when the best chef makes it. It tastes different on various other days. Thr best technique and taste is on Sunday always. I am also a big fan of the Tiramisu served in a cup and saucer. The crunchy chocolate chunks are perfect in it. Family friendly restaurant, always kids dining here. Can get a little too loud sometimes. I keep coming back for the patate.
