What User likes about Rupert's Deli:
Rupert's has the best clubhouse sandwich in metropolitan St. John's. Easily the best I have ever had. The cheesecake is spectacular too. Their one downside is that they accept cash only, so you have to plan to have money with you to eat there, but it is well worth it. It is based in CBS so a little out of the way for people in town, but the trip is more than worth it. They do tend to sell out and close for the day, s... View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Rupert's Deli:
The bread was hard and stale tasting, the meat seemed like it was off and i had to throw most of it out. Tasted awful, horrible presentation. This was the worst place ive ever gotten food, a dumpster at sobeys would have been a better option View all feedback.

read moreRupert's Deli in Kelligrews, located a bit out of the way in CBS, has been receiving a lot of hype on social media. The service is average, and the hours can be unpredictable, so calling ahead is recommended. The sandwiches are decent, but not outstanding, with some complaints about blandness and average bread. The cheesecakes receive high praise for their flavors. The standout items are the Smokehouse Club sandwich and the cheesecake varieties. Despite being a cash-only establishment, Rupert's continues to attract locals and tourists alike for its unique offerings, even though they often sell out quickly.
