Was Anonym at Eggspectation a mag?
I love ice cream. Although I feel like the menu is somewhat smaller than the others in Montreal and Ottawa, the food is just as good. The location is somewhat strange, but I love cleanliness and service when this place. Come back here. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Eggspectation:
Have been for breakfast once and it was fine but would not recommend it for lunch. I had a BLT which boasted lots of bacon. Yes there was a lot but I think it had been cooked at breakfast. It was nice thick bacon but since it was not fresh it was very hard and difficult to chew. I can't even say they were too busy to cook it fresh. I could see the cooks standing around doing nothing. No service, very slow! The waitress even added the tip herself on the machine!
Terrible service. Mediocre food. We were five people when we came in, we waited for about 30 mins to get a table (we were pretty understanding for this part because they were busy). Once we sat down, the place started to get empty so we hoped to get our food relatively fast. We ended up waiting for 40 mins more to get our food. We were the last people to get our orders. Even people that arrived after us got their orders first. We ordered simple things like eggs benedict and some pancakes. It is absolutely unacceptable to take 40 mins to prepare that.We will never go back to this place, and I suggest for other people to try all other options nearby before going to this place especially if you are person of color. I am not one to claim racism, but when you're the only group of people of color and you get served last versus the others that got their order first, especially when they too were groups, then you can't help and think that you get profiled.
One of the best restaurants in the area. A 5-star rating! The food is always excellent and the service is exceptional. Bravo!
