Boondocks - St. Helena

This is a cozy place we recommend. Excellent service, reasonable prices, good food. We had the admiral board. Fried flounder, shrimp, scallops, oysters, calamari, crab cake and side. It was delicious! We share it and couldn't stop it. Not greasy at all, slightly broken, tender and fluffy. They feature a fully equipped bar and an outdoor seating area. Daily specials. Deserts. Live music at the weekend. If you're hungry, it's your fault.

The filled Flounder was great. The black shrimps were perfect. Great staff and excellent service. I recommend this place.

UPDATE: 10/10/2020: Sign in the window says CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Today (Saturday) stopped to find the place dark and the sign in the window. I had the Boonie bird chicken with crab cake and shattered with Mozzarella. The Bay sauce was great, and the fried Okra was crisp and crisp. If you're in the neighborhood, don't let his Drab engineer fool you. The place is great.

Good place to take a meal with the family. All types of weekly specials. Live music. Friendly staff. Soft bowl crab Sammich is amazing! Cosy bar back with cool bartender.

$0.50 shrimp on Wednesdays is always fantastic. I recommend both the Blackened and Fried variety. The staff is friendly, and food has always been tasty. Iced Tea is extremely weak.
