If you are used to the nightlife in Zurich, you'll be totally puzzled on your first visit in St. Gall. Saturday night, gorgeous Summer weather - but at 11 pm the old part of town is dead. There are bunches of restaurants, coffeeshops and bars with tables outdoors, but they are all closed or about to shut down. If you are used to the nightlife in Zurich, you'll be totally puzzled on your first visit in St. Gall. Saturday night, gorgeous Summer weather - but at 11 pm the old part of town is dead. There are bunches of restaurants, coffeeshops and bars with tables outdoors, but they are all closed or about to shut down. So we were very happy to find Don Pedro, nicely located on a quaint Piazza in historical surroundings, a few steps from the cathedral, and get a drink there. Large selection of drinks and friendly waiters.
My gin tonic cost more than 14.- that's exaggerated. the bar is dusted, where is the hygiene here please!??
The size of the selection of drinks is excellent, the quality of the drinks is very good. hugo and amaretto sour are very tasteful. a really good place to enjoy an apéritif or a cozy day-to-day sound.
