The pumpkin soup would h... read more I went there with friends from Asia. I wanted to show traditional Swiss food and had a bad experience nevertheless with friendly staff. The pumpkin soup would have been delicious if there was much less salt inside. Same for the following Geschnetzeltes where the sauce was again way too salty. I was unable to enjoy the real taste of the food however, unfortunately I need to say that I often make this experience in Switzerland. Chnusperli that I had were not fresh and broke apart without being crispy and reminded me more of dry fish than Chnusperli. The price is appropriate for St.Gallen

In the simple Bar&BesenBeiz style let it rip in the oldie style and then move on when it's best. Or to put it another way, pre heat with a modest beer menu and then take off.
