What User doesn't like about Vintage 53:
We chose our wines, which were fantastic. I also noticed a couple further down the bar enjoying some cocktails that looked very appealing; the bartender definitely knows how to mix a great drink. We decided to order from their Charcuterie menu and selected Genoa salami, wein braided bark salami, summer sausage, blue cheese, goat cheese, somego, pickled radish, and fig jam, along with crackers. The portions were gener... View all feedback.
Great place for cocktails, weeping, relaxed atmosphere and live music at the weekend. have not yet tried to eat, but the drinks are excellent, especially the old fashion.
Nice place for a good drink (and fine tinned food). Always a fun stop.
Great for date nights and girls night out! Making your own charcuterie tray was so fun and memorable
It's taken too long, but we finally made it to Vintage 53 this past weekend. The wine selection is great, the pours are generous. The charcuterie was delicious... A couple of things, though, could use some work. First of all, the place looks fantastic, but the echoes off the hard surfaces really make communication nearly impossible unless you're sitting right next to someone. And it was that loud with maybe half the room full. I know that's partially because I'm getting old, but it's also a function of the acoustics of the room. A few bits of acoustical material in the corners could really kill the standing waves in this room. Especially, if you're going to have live music. Secondly, the atmosphere in this place screams out for a nice cozy quiet corner to have an intimate glass of wine and flatbread with friends. But the room is all tables and high tops there should be some nice cozy booths, or a couch, or some kind of pit group... Folks should also be aware that it's easy to get carried away with the charcuterie menu we spent $60 and got 2 types of meat, 2 kinds of cheese, 2 types of crackers, 2 types of mustards/jams, and some dried cherries. It was all good and fresh, but it's not just an appetizer. I'm not complaining about the price, just making sure folks are aware. One other thing about the charcuterie it might be nice to have a couple of pre selected versions for those who are not sure where to begin. Overall, a great, casual comfortable night. I would recommend it. TIP: Besides wine, they have a good selection of draft beer and some great looking cocktails, many of them smoked to order...
How in the world is this place empty every time I come here?! Great wine selection...every bottle is sold by the glass. Good menu options. Excellent cheese and charcuterie menu let's you mix'n match to your own tastes. Come visit, you won't be disappointed.
