Jo Blo's Bar and Grill - St. Catharines

This bar is just down the road from the 4 pad arena and is close to the corner of Louth Street. We have been a few times now on Thursdays after work for the wing special. I am surprised it was not on Trip Advisor till this review because it's a very nice place. Everything looks fairly new and it is actually quite tastefully done for a little out of the way pub. There is a bar area with taller tables and stools then there is a separate dining room and it has a pool table there. The dining room is very nice and I would take any family or a date there. The whole bar is well done.We have always had the wings there on Thursday special 0.69 cents each. They have the usual beers on tap and the tap/bottle beer is ice cold. Can't say much about the menu as I never really looked at it. Prices are good.The parking lot is pretty small and you may end up parking on the street if it's busy. I recommend it.

We took a chance and entered the place as it was close to the area. We discover a local pub with great food (large portions) and friendly service. Food was so good we came back the second day of our tournament to the same great experience. Philly cheese steak ordered twice has a pound of meet! Wings were big tasty and crispy (Cajun). Hamburger double partty (Origain Jo) looked like I ordered it from Frat Burger for half the cost. Lastly the club although served on a hamburger bun had two great chicken breast cooked to perfection. Fries were good and the soup was homemade. Jo's was a great find!!

Stopped here as looked good and lot of people, service was very slow even for drinks, food ordered flat bread starter then main meal, starter took so long that we cancelled the main meal, waitresses didn't seem that enthusiastic about there jobs ,and we watched them clean the tables down and all they did was wipe the food and crumbs from the tables on to the chairs, maybe it was just a bad day for the staff
