Abigail's Tea House - St. Catharines

Abigail's Tea House reminds me of Uncle Iroh (Avatar the Last Air Bender) and to those who know about this character can advocate the compliment. It is a great place to enjoy new flavors of tea while not feeling rushed to eat quickly. It is a fantastic little restaurant with personable service, calm and homey atmosphere, and terrific food.

We hosted a bridal shower at Abigail’s Teahouse last August, 2022. The entire experience was wonderful. Lorene and Ivan are hospitable and personable and take great pride in giving their customers a memorable experience. The food and tea were delicious and plentiful, with a sweet Ladybug tea fora five year old girl. To me, the thing that impressed me the the most was the gorgeous, huge food bowl for the vegan in our group. Thanks Ivan and Lorene for making the bride-to-be feel special and helping provide her with some very happy memories.

We LOVE Abigail's in our family! We've both dined in, and done takeout. The owners are incredibly nice and very thoughtful, they really get to know their customers well. The food is decadent, rich, beautiful, and fun. The raspberry cream earl grey and summer strawberry teas are our favourites. We've had most of the menu items and never been disappointed. The inside can sometimes be really loud when it's busy and people are having a good time.

Visited with friends and was the perfect atmosphere to enjoy specialty teas and fabulous sweets. As a Gluten Free guest, I was offered many options including a a gourmet salad and decadent high tea treats. A lovely experience with excellent personal service.

My mom hired Abigail's Tea House to host my baby shower last weekend and it was AMAZING! When she told me it was booked I thought...what a great idea. Everything is taken care of for you...food, service and clean up! You are able to tailor your experience and choose which high tea is best suited for you. The food came out in courses and every dish was incredibly fresh with lots of flavour. It was nicely executed because it allowed for guests to mingle and take their time between meals. It did not feel rushed and you had the chance to digest your food. My favourite was the 3-tiered dessert at the end. The clotted cream is authentic and imported from the UK, which a lot of the guests appreciated because of their heritage and it's what high tea is all about. The atmosphere is gorgeous, bright and very clean. The owners, Lorene and Ivan, are great people who truly care about your experience and work very hard to ensure you're taken care of. You are welcomed with big smiles and friendly, fun energy from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. All of our guests had a ball and talked about the unique destination for days after the event. We would highly recommend Abigail's Tea House for a private event or a small get-together. You will absolutely enjoy yourself...thanks again Lorene and Ivan, we will be back. Cheers!
