Vilano Grill 180 - St. Augustine

I introduce my criticism with “taste is subjective”. I love checking restaurants and especially when I find a hidden gem, but that is not that. overpriced, cooked, overly baked, underwhelming, I love great Italian cuisine and seafood, but again that was not it. we ordered the spicy garnels, mozzarella caprese and fried mozzarella for appetizers. the garnels were heavily baked and looked much bigger than they were actually. the spicy sauce was good, but that was it. mozzarella in the caprese plate was very dry. the fried mozzarella was in order, but it was served with a cold tomato thick substance and not marinara. Entrees: Rib-Auge steak, 180 chicken tacos, grouper, chicken piccata, cheese pizza and spaghetti with butter for the enkelkinder. the Ok spaghetti, tacos, grouper. steak was boiled, brokkoli was frozen, the pommes were super dry. chicken piccata was terrible. no lemon has been detected, the chicken has been heavily grounded and gummy. capers had no taste. pizza was ok. thick heavy sauce and very thin crisp teig. I do not recommend this and the prizes are in place with disney, even beer and wein only not full cash. no ambiente. old tables and very uncomfortable chairs, tables were sticky. no ac only fans, or that's what it seemed.

We sat outside and the waitress ignored us completely. She took the order of the next table, picked up her menus and didn't even drop a menu for us. I walked in and asked the hostess if we could grab a beer outside and get a bowl of water for our dogs. She said I'm gonna send her waitress out. she put 2 menus in my hands. I asked in the middle of it if I could snap a bowl of water for the dogs in the meantime, it was 95 f outside and we were walking there. the door opened and some new guests came in. the host said you need to get out of here. I said, excuse me? she said you were in the way, get out of here. I returned the menus and said I didn't come back.

We received an excellent service for our To-go order during waiting at the bar. some friends who recommend this place for pizza and fish tacos. we both believed and ordered. the fish tacos were good. the pizza crust was delicious, but the beats and the sauce were much too salty. not sure if they add to the pizza before baking salt. Maybe they ask and when they say they leave it. we would definitely try again.

Fun place for pizza, Italian dishes and seafood. my sohn had a kesepizze and it was delicious. hubby and I shared a loaded stromboli and a Greek salate. nic was our server and he was well jammed. very recommended kindness: pizzas are very good and children will love them covered place
