in marina munch in english landing is uptown. go....Seriously addicting food. how stupid, amazing rosary dresses... really nelling the crispy garlic quality.? we had the weakened laughs with tear beans. but I ate it before a picture, I'm sorry. owner is a super hard working guy who is obviously proud of what he fries up. If you drive to St. Augustine, this truck strip is worth picnic tables and water views. Uptown Scratch cuisine is seriously the most expensive food truck food I ever had, but also the most delicious. We order a burger that was better quality, then some high-end restaurants and fried shrimp that my husband said was the best he had. The atmosphere at the port, the feeling of breeze and seeing the boats is a beautiful relaxing place to go with the family or on a date.
DECEPTIVELY delicious. Believe the hype. Husband and I shared a shrimp po boy for lunch and it was definitely enough for the two of us. You also get a generous serving of fries, but I would probably try the onion rings next time. Shrimp are big, sweet, and battered nicely. Staff is helpful and friendly, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there, too. Definitely recommend.
When I?m deciding what I want for lunch, my first question in my head is... ?is this restaurant/ food truck better than uptown scratch kitchen??? Usually the answer is a resounding ?NO?. As a result I spend more time with Kyle @uptown than I do with my wife. Fries are best in town Fish n? Chips can?t be beat Philly is fantastic!
We loved the food and the service at dinner so much we came back for lunch. You don't get to have it your way, you get it the way the chef intended. Also, this is not fast food, this is quality food prepared fresh to order. They work with DOS the beer, wine, and coffee bar next door so you can eat in the Air conditioning of you like. And across the street there is a pastry shop with cookies and chocolates. This little area was a trifecta of culinary delight!
Delicious highly recommended! One of the best cheesesteaks I've had. While we were waiting, 3 people commented on how good their food was. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back when in the area!
