Salt Life Food Shack - St. Augustine

The interior of the restaurant was beautiful, we ate in the upper floor deck and it was great. Oysters and roasted avocado were phenomenal. It is located directly opposite the beach, which was beautiful. Would blow again!

Beautiful restaurant along with a super convenient location when you look at the surrounding area. I?m sure I can speak for most when I say the outside seating is what grabbed my attention from a far. The blue neon lights you could see from afar! The restaurants decor has a fun beach vibe. During our visit they had live music ? ongoing. It was a really nice touch. This place is very popular! Service was great! That alone gives this place three stars. Food was just okay and the lack of vegetarian options was a bit disappointing. I didn?t have much to eat besides rice, veggies, and fries. My grandmother enjoyed her shrimp, and we loved the dessert ? We didn?t have much expectations going in so we were content with our experience.

Great food, great service and love the beachy theme. We were initially concerned with dinner at a place known for their clothing brand but were pleasantly surprised. They had tons of great sounding meals but choose the pan seared chicken pasta with capers and the spicy tuna bowl both of which were excellent, good quality, fresh and delicious. There was live music (guy with a guitar) he had a beautiful voice and chose pleasant music, a little loud for my taste, but we sat further away and enjoyed the tunes. Would recommend all around!

Food was delicous. Service was stellar. Loved the indoor/outdoor vibe. After our first visit we went back a few days later and they were understaffed, but Lauren found us and took such great care of us. She went above and beyond. The food was just as good as we tried new things this round. We will definitely visit whenever near St. Augustine.

The atmosphere is relaxed. The vibe is covered. The menu is creative. Sitting is also great and fast. The food was phenomenal and worth waiting.
