Food was delicious. The service was very slow. We had 4 small children with us so the service should have been better. Luckily the kids behaved very well since we always pack small snacks for them. I will say that the food was so good that I'll go again. View all feedback.
What Dory Schutska doesn't like about Cinco De Mayo Palencia:
The service was good. The food was great! I have been going there for about six months. I always ask for dessert, they never have ice cream!!!! A Mexican restaurant, that offers dessert, without ice cream , is a total disgrace to Mexican cuisine. The owner needs to go out of business, or learn how to operate!!! So sad, actually pathetic!!! learn how to run your business!!! or get out!Dory View all feedback.

My first and last time. Ordered dinner #4 and Esquite. The chicken taco was EXTREMELY DRY with no seasoning and the esquite was completely inedible due to the amount of SODIUM. The enchilada and chili con queso was just SALT SALT SALT. It’s seriously enough to cause sodium poisoning. Wasted my money and ruined my dinner. ?
My wife and I are so glad that we gave Cinco de Mayo a try. The people there were very sweet and accommodating and the atmosphere was great and service was excellent but the food honestly blew us away. I got the crispy tacos which were very good but my wife got the Poblano Burrito which was hands down the best burrito that either of us had ever tasted. All of the flavors in our dishes were deep and delicious but that burrito was insanely good. In fact, we put half of it in the fridge for three days and when we reheated it, it was still delicious! There are several great Mexican restaurants in the St Augustine area and Cinco de Mayo is definitely one of them. Check them out when you get a chance and I think that you'll be very happy that you did.Take Care and Happy Eating ?Rick W
We had a great meal at Cinco De Mayo in Palencia! My husbands enchiladas were perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The guacamole and salsa were also delicious!! We have been to all 4 of the local restaurants in the area and this is our favorite! They were very accommodating despite us walking in within an hour of closing. We will definitely be back and will bring friends!
AWESOME FOOD! Taco salad and quesadilla with rice beans
