It's the first time we have been to the Copper Pan. They have a good menu, which caters for all ages. The bacon and egg roll is fabulous and not to be missed. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The coffee is good too. Well worth the visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Copper Pan:
You know you really start to trust an establishment, even set up a weekly ritual there, get to know the staff and thoroughly enjoy my visits and then out of know where they break my heart. My favourite staff members have left or are leaving and i now feel personally attacked by a 50 cent price increase on coffees. This is not how you treat loyalty. :'( View all feedback.
I tried the chilli prawn tagliatelle for $20 at this restaurant. It took a while to receive my order. The prawns seemed to be frozen, as they were tough and lacked flavor. The sauce was thick and not very spicy. The Parmesan cheese was the pre-packaged kind from the supermarket, rather than freshly grated. The service was indifferent; the waiter placed my meal and left before I could request more cheese. Overall, I was not satisfied with my dining experience.
Half an hour wait for two ham and cheese croissants and a plate of scrambled eggs on toast at 1:30pm, when only two other tables were being used by coffee drinkers. Told after 15 minutes there was only one croissant left and could they substitute with a ham and cheese toasty? Sure, no problem. No offer to credit the difference, as already paid at counter. $9.50 for a ham and cheese toasty? Won't be back.
This place is at the top of the escalators (top floor) or St Ives Shopping Centre. We had bacon and egg rolls, eggs on toast (with hollandaise sauce) and a large cappuccino. All items were tasty, great value for the price, quick and awesome service and plenty of seating. It is one of the best shopping centre cafes around especially on the north shore. On a previous visit I had the best ham and cheese croissant I’ve ever had-big, flavoursome, crispy on the outside and melted on the inside. Def worth your time money and effort!
This cafe catches the eye as you wander past with its odd metal adornments !! However the real reason you're in here is to have a drink and try some of their fare. Well we settled for coffee and a slice of berry crumble but there was a lot more on offer, our cake was very good by the way. Staff were friendly. Well worth a try.
Had a lunch here with my daughter today and was more than impressed with the Haloumi stack. I was gutted to see no eggs Benedict, but my disappointment was short lived once I started tucking into the huge and delicious stack. My 8 year old daughter will be trying it next time...huge compliments to the chef and superb waiting staff. Awesome experience and one restaurant I’d highly recommend
