There are many cafes in the St Ives Village shopping complex. JJ's is one of the best. Service is good and there's a nice feel about, whether you sit inside or out. One thing they are really good at is there seafood pasta. A delicious sauce sets this dish apart from other cafes in the centre. Reasonably priced, they have a good menu whether it is for breakfast or lunch. View all feedback.
What Mark T doesn't like about Cafe Di JJ:
We waited 35 minutes to be served at the restaurant. There was a mistake made in our order and when we inquired about it, the waitress had to resubmit it. However, there was no effort made to expedite our request. Despite watching other customers being served before us, we ultimately left in disappointment. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Very poor food quality and ingredients not as listed on the menu. Incorrect meals delivered. No apology for items missing from meal.
Service was very slow although the staff were friendly and polite. However we were completely underwhelmed with our food. Chicken and mayo toasted sandwich was terrible and to top things off we were badly overcharged by the guy at the cash register. So disappointed in this place as we are locals and been here many times so to be treated like this was appalling. Get your act together JJ’s, your going to loose your trusted customers if you keep this caper up.

Live locally and last visit food was ok here... but today ordered breakfast: the Goat 's cheese Avocado Bruschetta ... one very thin piece of toast with a scraping of avocado, 3 cherry tomatoes halved a sprinkle of goats cheese and kale ... certainly not worth $14 . However, am making the effort to write because as I was paying I politely told the older gentleman behind the till that it was not good value; his reply may I quote verbatim velly good value... actually too cheap price !! .... thus told him there are many other excellent cafes in the St Ives Village so no need for me to return to his. PS lovely waitress thank you to her !
Ordered raisin toast which was delivered cold and burnt. My husbands bacon and egg roll also lukewarm. How hard is it to get meals to the table hot! Service was slow and coffees took ages to come. Have been there once before and had their homemade muesli don’t bother I have bought heaps better from Aldi. Boring. Won’t bother going back as their are other nice places for breakfast at St Ives.
