We had a fantastic experience at Backcountry Brew with delicious pizza and great beer. Megan and Hailey provided excellent service and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Fun interior, efficient staff, delicious beer. Backcountry seems to do a particularly good work on citrus beer, and the tangent in the 'I'm Not even Supposed To Be Here Today' was fantastic. Happy to have a kitchen on site, and the 'The Amore' pizza... was delish, really excellent pizza. Absolutely come back.

We get a lot of take out and have frequented almost every Squamish restaurant. The pizza at Backcountry Brewing is fabulous (the prosciutto fig is our favourite ! Unfortunately, every single time we have gone to BB, we have been met with lukewarm reception. You are...made to wait and then met with an arrogant indifference. Where other local restaurants go out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued, BB leaves you wishing you had spent your money somewhere else. It’s too bad because the restaurant has the potential to be a great meet up place (like A-Frame Brewing Co. , but the service leaves a bitter aftertaste.

My husband drinks IPAs and I drink sours. Backcountry has 5 of each! It's like this place was made just for us!

My boyfriend and I are squamish locals and love going to backcountry, until last night. The staff was extremely unfriendly. No one approached us when we came into the door to get our table and when we finally sat down we watched them attended to...every table but ours and finally had to ask to get service. We had to wave them down each time we wanted a new drink, since our empty glasses weren’t enough to have them come over and ask. We watched our food sit in the window and no one ever quality checked our table. I have worked in the industry and understand when it gets busy (and it wasn’t during this time) or if someone is having a off day but this was unprofessional and disappointing. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food and beer is always amazing.
