Feedback
Backcountry Brewing is a popular spot in Squamish with a spacious atmosphere and diverse beer selection. While the food received mixed reviews, it is agreed that the main draw of this brewery is the beer itself. The atmosphere is described as warehouse-style but welcoming, with a great selection of pizzas and salads. The service is generally good, with friendly staff making the experience enjoyable. Overall, Backcountry Brewing offers a great place to enjoy delicious beer and decent food in Squamish, making it a must-visit for both locals and visitors.
Went for a night with the girlfriend. The place is very bare bones , warehouse feel . Has a lot of kitch going on granny's wall paper ducks on the wall bench and table style concrete floors . The beer was awesome and enough to choose from . salads and pizza for food . The pizza is thin crust. Reminds me of pizza I had in Brindisi Italy 40 yr ago was really freaking good . Guest visiting are varied flip flops and cracked heels to the GQ . Was warehouse style but sill able to talk and hear . It's well worth a visit
Great beer selection and taste. Growlers to go are great for camping! Pizza is a European style not a pie style. So tasted really good but not so filling! I would drop by again for a beverage and beer.Service was awesome. Everyone happy and having fun!
Perfect spot for enjoying delicious beers and great food! Service was prompt and friendly. You've got to try the prosciutto pizza and close talker IPA. Definitely recommend this brewery!
This spacious microbrewery in Squamish has a great atmosphere and is popular among locals. It can be difficult to secure a table due to its popularity. The establishment offers a wide variety of beers, as well as wine for those who prefer it. We tried a few pizzas, a rocket and balsamic salad, and even a meatball dish. The pizzas were generously sized and tasty. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are headed to Whistler or the Sea to Sky Gondola.
We tried three different beers at the restaurant: two were delicious, while the third one was not to our liking. However, taste is subjective and we wouldn't judge the entire brewery based on one beer. We give the restaurant three stars for the food. The dishes were decent, but not outstanding. The lamb dish was a bit dry and overwhelmed by the taste of cumin. The pizza was average and slightly undercooked. Overall, we believe the main draw of this restaurant is the beer, so three stars seems fair based on our visit.
