Reviews - Vito's Kitchen
Reviews summary
Vito’s in Springfield is a cozy, chef-driven spot known for airy, non-greasy crusts, 100% whole-milk cheese, flavorful sausage and handmade meatballs. The menu pairs a fixed selection with rotating craft pizzas, a generous antipasto bar and standout spinach-artichoke dip. Guests enjoy warm, attentive service, chef-led private cooking classes and group events where Vito often greets diners. Mostly glowing praise for food and atmosphere, though a pickup billing glitch with a tip was reported. Ideal for families, couples and larger gatherings seeking authentic Italian comfort.

What Anthony Burress dislikes about Vito's Kitchen:
I attempted to add a tip to my pickup order but decided against it. Despite backing out, my card was still charged for the tip. This feels like a scam. I won’t be ordering from here again. View all feedback.

I absolutely love Vito's homemade pasta and pizzas. The pizza crust is fantastic! I haven't been here since the pandemic, but I'm excited to go back.
Vito's serves the best pizza in Springfield! In addition, Vito has created a crust that is truly unmatched. We believe you would have to travel to NYC or perhaps even Italy to find one that compares!
Having a group of (7) couples the pizza bar seemed a good way to dine. This place has some really great dishes I 'll list below. For a first time, it sure was a great place to find. Here is what I can speak to: Spinach dip appetizer: This dip was pretty darn good to say the least. This isn 't your typical mayo or sour cream based dip. The Italian spin on this one really elevates the dip. Meatball appetizer: We had the meatball with a white sauce along with another covered with marinara. Either one of these were an excellent representation of an Italian meatball. Anti pasta appetizer: a typical platter of items you 'd expect and was good. There were (2) cheeses I thought that were particularly very good. Pizza: First off somebody knows what they 're dining in making the crust. The crust had a great airy texture....has those big air bubble pockets that is a sign of a great crust! We had a white sauce pizza as one of our options. The sauce made from cream, Parmesan and garlic.....it was certainly a fan favorite at our table. Cannolis: These cannolis maybe aren 't the level of Missouri Bakery on The Hill....but we 're not in St Louis. For Springfield....these cannolis are still quite good. When you go to Vito 's expect to see Vito to come around the dining room. He takes a real interest and pride in his restaurant. Try it....I think you 'll really enjoy the place!
Vito's never fails to impress! I recently took on The Big Vito challenge, and it was an amazing experience. I was just half a slice away from finishing!

We ordered salads along with a sausage and meatball pizza. We enjoyed a pleasant, leisurely conversation while we waited for the pizza to arrive. Our server mentioned that Vito makes the meatballs by hand, and wow, the pizza was amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful, and our server provided excellent service. I can't believe we hadn't been here before, but we will definitely return. Thank you, Vito!

By far the best pizza I have ever had. Defiantly will be going again. Vito and staff is very friendly.
Vito’s Kitchen truly has the best pizza I️ have ever tasted. And the vibe of the place makes you feel at home.
First time at Vito's and the food was great. The spinach artichoke dip was hands down the best I've had and the pizza was awesome. Definitely worth checking out!
My family and I had a private cooking class this weekend with Vito to celebrate my Dad's birthday. It was a blast! We learned new tricks to try in our own kitchens while preparing our favorite foods from scratch. After the class we sat around the table, drank wine, and enjoyed our meal with wonderful service from Vito and his son. A must do for any family/friends gathering!
The food is fantastic! We started with the Antipasto Bar, and the selection was incredibly delicious. We also ordered a traditional sausage pizza. You can really taste the difference with the 100% whole milk cheese. The crust has a wonderful flavor and texture, the sausage is flavorful, there’s an abundance of cheese, and the sauce is perfectly balanced. Vito has a fixed menu but also offers rotating 'Craft' pizzas and daily specials. I highly recommend you give it a try—we were definitely not disappointed!
