I've been a regular at Sunny China for several years, and I'm always pleased with my experience. I really enjoy their fried rice and General Tso’s tofu, but it's the bean curd in garlic sauce that keeps me coming back. I've ordered it dozens of times, and it's always a generous portion, bursting with flavor. I love Asian cuisine, and this may just be my favorite tofu dish in the city. To top it off, everything is alw... View all feedback.
What Buck McGwagen doesn't like about Sunny China House:
In a sea of quick-service Chinese restaurants, this one might be your best option. While I wouldn't recommend the General Tso Chicken, the rest of the food is decent and reasonably priced, with little to no wait time for your order. View all feedback.
Food was delicious and the staff treated us like family. A must-visit when in Springfield!!
Since the pandemic, we only order take out. The food is well packed and still hot when we get home. Large menu and almost everything is good. The one disappointment is shrimp in lobster sauce. This Cantonese dish should have a thick fragrant sauce, but it's thin and watery like that at most Springfield, Chinese restaurants. It needs more ground pork, and the imitation crab/lobster adds nothing. Aside from this, the Hunan and Szechuan dishes are excellent, as are the Mongolian beef and Moo-shu pork.
Fantastic carryout! We love the crispy chicken egg rolls. The BEST vegetable Lo Mein that I have ever had. Strongly recommend!!!
Great food. We've eaten here before. Well prepared. Not too salty or spicy.
