This diner is great, clean and welcoming. Funny, but I always ask for my eggs medium and at home fries well done, but they never do. You'd think I wanted the cook to burn an expensive steak! You always fix it when I ask! Still this well-run classic must love! View all feedback.
What Chris dislikes about The Springfield Diner:
We use to go here all the time, but 40% of time the the order is wrong. Finally went back after 2 years and they screwed up my order again and they're excuse is, it's not on the menu.. it was a buffalo chicken cheese steak wrap. I explain to them buffalo chicken, cheese, ranch on the aide NOTHING else on the wrap. They always ignore it and put lettuce and tomato. And they ignorant manager says this isn't on the menu.... The pastrami was fatty, difficult to chew, and had a lot of gristle. The fries were soggy, and the bread was burnt.
Both dishes are excellent. They serve generous portions, and the food has consistently been fresh every time I've had it.
