Old Luxemburg Inn - Springfield

We always have an amazing time at this restaurant. The owner has a great sense of humor and genuinely values his customers. Everything we've tried from the menu has been outstanding. Definitely ask for the steak seasoned; I absolutely love the filet mignon. I usually order my steak rare, and I've never had an issue with it. The fried lobster is delicious, as is the salmon and fried chicken. Plus, the garlic chive sauce on the potatoes is fantastic! The staff is consistently friendly and always eager to ensure our visit is worthwhile. We're so glad we discovered this place; it's wonderful to have a local spot for steak and fish!

I had an excellent steak dinner with fantastic service. We arrived early, but the restaurant started to get busy as we ate. For dessert, I enjoyed a delicious grasshopper cocktail. I would definitely return if I'm in the area. Be sure to try the cheese chive sauce on the potatoes—it was delightful! I also really liked the garlic salad dressing/dipping sauce. Overall, it was one of the best meals of my trip.

I visited the restaurant last night for my birthday and ordered the lobster—it was so delicious that I asked for another one! Kristi, our waitress, just laughed at my enthusiasm. Overall, it’s a fantastic place with excellent food and great service. Thank you, Kristi!

We had friends visiting from LA. They requested the Old Lux; as they had lived here years ago and wanted a trip down memory lane. We made reservations for 7:00 on a Friday evening ... we arrived on time and the place was packed. The hostess took us to our table immediately and the waitress followed. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. What a fun experience for our friends! We will definitely return as the atmosphere was super fun!

My favorite restaurant in Springfield. Consistent great steak. Great service. Sit at the bar and you are going to make new friends. Portions are great and the price is even better. Seriously the most under rated food in Springfield.
