Mid Towne Cafe - Springfield
Mid Towne Cafe
Description
Nestled in a small town, Mid Towne Cafe elicits a diverse range of experiences. While some patrons rave about the generous portions and delightful Southern dishes, such as meatloaf and fried flounder, others report frustrating service issues and disorganization during busy hours. The unique buffet setup, although initially appealing, can lead to disappointments in food selection and flavor. With a friendly atmosphere and live music on select days, many find it an enjoyable spot despite its inconsistencies. Ultimately, while some guests recommend frequent visits for a taste of home-cooked goodness, others advise caution when considering the overall experience.

The food that day was delightful, especially the meatloaf. There was a generous portion, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere had a lively crowd, and there was a unique quality that made it stand out from most restaurants.
The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed very disorganized. I waited over 30 minutes for my food, which arrived incorrect and ice-cold. The prices are quite high considering the poor quality and service. I would recommend avoiding this place.
A nice little spot to dine in a small town. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is outstanding.
Family oriented and Awesome food. Great people work there and people come from all around. Kerrie Newsome also does catering.
