Long John Silver's - Springfield

Food was good and hot. Not too greasy like a lot of long john silvers places.

The fish had a crispy coating on the outside, but also had a soft yellow layer between the crispiness and the fish. This yellow layer had an unpleasant taste that I had never experienced before. It also seemed like they had used old fry grease. I was very dissatisfied with my meal.

The chicken at this restaurant was incredibly tough and difficult to eat. It was the worst experience I've had at a Long John's. The coleslaw tasted sour and overall I was very disappointed. As someone who has worked in food service for many years, I would never serve something like that to a customer. I called the manager to express my concerns, but she was extremely rude and talked over me.

Food prepared fresh to order. Superior to the North Limestone store?

I was having a hard time finding my usual order on the menu so i asked her if they still had it even apologized for not seeing it on the menu. She must’ve forgotten to turn her mic off started making fun of me to a coworker. As i was waiting for her to ring my order in they started making fun of their inside customers as well. She was very rude to me, I usually go to the on on north Limestone never have a problem with them. I will not be going back to the south limestone location again.
