Feedback
Krispy Kreme continues to be a beloved destination for doughnut enthusiasts, offering delightful and flavorful treats that many consider the best. However, recent feedback indicates a concerning decline in customer service quality and order accuracy. Patrons have reported issues such as missing items, unresponsive staff, and a lack of resolution for discrepancies. While some loyal customers appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the excitement of watching donuts being made, others express disappointment over inconsistency in freshness and service. Overall, Krispy Kreme remains a favorite for many, yet improvements in customer service are urgently needed to enhance the dining experience.
Ordered and paid for a dozen donuts online. They were out of one, so instead of asking what I want instead, they left it out. I didn't realize until I got home, so I tried to call. Noone answered. I drove 15 minutes each way to have them fix their mistake, and they did NOTHING to make it right. Just handed me a donut. No apology, nothing. Oh, and when I had originally ordered, I accidentally ordered a small coffee instead of a large. So I asked if I could pay the difference and get a large. Nope. They made me buy a whole other cup of coffee. If they has been decent about that, maybe I wouldn't have been so livid about the stupid donut. Terrible customer service. Will NOT be returning.
I rated this place a 2 because I do enjoy their donuts. However, when I tried to use my fundraiser certificate to buy a mixed dozen and asked if I could just pay the difference, they said no. I know a friend who has done this before, so it was surprising. Even the manager claimed she didn't have the ability to override the system, which I find hard to believe. I should have just walked out then and there. This will be my last visit; I’ll be going to Duck Donuts from now on.
Not so sure what's going on with this place anymore last several times donuts have not been fresh. I think I will try the other location in JC. Wil definitely give an update.Almost forgot customer service is still great.
Update: I love Krispy Kreme and wish it wasn 't a 30 minute drive but perhaps it 's just enough of a deterrent so it 's not a weekly trip haha. At the end of the night they still had a decent variety. And, best of all, they all still tasted fresh (unlikeend of the night Dunkin lol). If you haven 't had Krispy Kreme, I 'd recommend it! Sooo this was my first true Krispy Kremeexperience where I went in myself and picked out my own doughnuts. I had no idea they offered so many varieties (I alwaysthought they just had typical ones like glazed, boston cream, etc). This location was absolutely huge and definitely would be afun date night dessert spot outside of a pandemic. They even had what looked like a birthday party room, wow. There is also aclear window to view the doughnuts being freshly made by a giant conveyor belt like system. There are more varieties insidethan on of the app but the app allows you to order ahead if there is a line. They only allow six in at a time (which I thoughtwas silly considering how huge the space is) but okay, I get it, safety first. Some people were REALLY cold outside so I thinkit made for some disgruntled customers haha. By the time I left, the line was much longer outside than when I had arrived. Iordered two mini doughnut four pack specials and a dozen of some I picked from the display. I dropped some off to friends andfamily so I didn 't try them all haha. My husband and I kept six to cut up and try at home and boy they did not disappoint. I 'ma huge fan of yeast based (rather than cake based) doughnuts and these were yummy! They are indeed very sweet, however, if youare sampling a bite or two of each (I cut mine into quarters) it 's not a huge deal. I tried the salted caramel, oreo, glazed, chocolate frosted, lemon, dulce de leche. I think my favorite were the lemon and the dulce de leche. The yeast doughnut texturewas on point though. I will say the cashier was not very friendly. His tone was very condescending and
The best Krispy Kreme thus far. I?m from NY where there was only 2 original locations, 125th in Harlem and Penn Station. Here in NJ there is a private party room, a drive through, and restaurant seating. This location also has more donut variety than anyother location. Service is also great as Antonio was very helpful!
