Reviews - Kokee Kitchen
Reviews summary
Nestled on the second floor of the Springfield Center, this restaurant offers a blend of Korean-inspired dishes that spark mixed reactions. While some speak highly of the flavorful Beef Bulgogi tacos and crispy corn dogs, others express disappointment in pre-packaged ramen and overly sweet lemonades. The Korean street dog and taro mochi donut receive praise for their delightful flavors, while the Korean chicken wings and some tacos fall short. Despite varying opinions on food quality and pricing, the friendly service and lively atmosphere make it a decent spot for a quick meal or snack. Overall, a place worth exploring, albeit with caution on certain menu items.

I ordered the spicy Korean ramen because the picture looked good, but while I was waiting for my food I saw them opening a pack of Shin Ramyun in the back. I?m like?you gotta be kidding me. It was about $12 and I can buy a pack of 5 for $6. And they didn?teven dress it up they literally just made it from the pack. I make it better at home. Anyway, the Korean street dog (cheese)was pretty good. It was crispy and sweet with good quality mozzarella The taro Mochi donut was great , probably my favoritething that I got. Ultimately I would only go back for the donuts, but even that?s not enough for me to actually go back. Ifyou?re looking for Korean street food you can definitely do better.
I almost missed this place In the Springfield mall food court as it is beside Charley's Philly Steaks back in the corner. I am glad I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I love Korean food and I love tacos so I thought I'd try this place. I would say geteverything on the taco including the kimchi with the spicy sriracha sauce. It's amazing! I almost forgot the passion fruit teais also a very great addition.
Food was good and had nice flavor. service was quick and staff were nice. prices seemed a bit high for the amount of food you get, for fried cheese and a drink $11 is a bit much. plenty of seating as long as the malls not super busy. placeseemed like they keep it clean. overall a good first experience, I'd recommend this location.

The Korean chicken wings were not freshly cooked and extremely salty. I couldn't finish even one wing and ended up throwing everything away. I regret spending money on this dish and would not order it again.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, especially the ramen and fried shrimp which were both delicious. I also tried the chocolate mochi donut for the first time and it was very good. The prices were a bit high, but the experience was unique. I would rate the atmosphere 4 stars. It is located in a mall, so it is what you would expect in that regard.
I recently visited a restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the old Springfield Mall, now known as Springfield Center. I ordered a Beef Bulgogi taco with kimchi, pico de gallo, cilantro, cabbage, and soy garlic sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors in the first bite were incredible. I also tried a half cheese and half sausage corn dog with the same soy garlic sauce, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was, even though the sausage was actually a Vienna Weeny. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful, providing great customer service. I highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious snack or meal.
Food was cold and the chicken was mushy. I had high expectations and was disappointed by the food quality.
I ordered a milk tea and it was disgusting. The employee was extremely rude to me.I don’t know her name but she had curly hair and was a bit overweight and was slacking off and not doing her job and kept giggling and kept whispering about me and my frineds. Her smile faded when she saw me which was extremely rude. I think she should be fired.

Lunch at this restaurant was a delightful experience. The food was top-notch, earning a perfect 5 rating. The service was also exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff receiving another 5 rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, earning a well-deserved 5 rating as well. I highly recommend trying the Korean Corn Dogs and Fried Shrimp during your visit.
Got the chicken wings and they were ok. I have definitely had much better. The cashier was very nice. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The Kokee Taco offers a unique take on traditional tacos with its flavorful spices, making it a must-try. My only critique is that the chicken could be a bit more tender. The service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, earning a 3 out of 5. The price per person is affordable, ranging from $1 to $10. Recommended dishes include the taco.
Extremely rude employee. If you are not capable of providing a good customer service, then why are you working in the food industry? Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The food and drinks at this restaurant were terrible. The lemonades tasted like overly sweet syrup and water. The rose lemonade tasted like a flower (which I had never tasted before). I was so hungry that I had to throw away my food and buy something else elsewhere. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. I would rate the food a 1, service a 5, and atmosphere a 5.

I ordered the cheese and sausage corn dog. The corn dog was crispy and the cheese was nicely melted, however, I had trouble finding the sausage. Towards the end of the stick, there was a small hotdog that was the size of a Vienna sausage, which was disappointing.
Situated on the 2nd floor of the former Springfield Mall, now known as Springfield Center, I believe? Anyway, I tried the Beef Bulgogi taco and it was absolutely delicious. I added kimchi, pico de gallo, cilantro, and cabbage with soy garlic sauce, and that first bite was incredible! I also ordered a half cheese and half sausage corn dog and I'm so happy I did because it was equally amazing with the soy garlic sauce. Despite the surprise of realizing the sausage was actually a Vienna Weeny, it still tasted good! The young lady working at the counter was very friendly and helpful with any questions, providing great customer service. I definitely recommend this spot for a quick and tasty snack or meal.
