The Cajun fries are absolutely mouthwatering, and a small order is more than enough for two people. However, it's the burgers that truly amaze me. You start with your choice of burger and then select your toppings and sauces. Wow! We usually avoid chain restaurants, but given our dislike for another popular burger spot, Five Guys is our go-to for burgers. #fiveguysburgers

If you opt for all the toppings, you’ll end up with a towering, messy creation over 4 inches tall. But in all honesty, you can’t beat a juicy burger cooked to perfection on the flat top grill, piled high with your personal selections. Pair it with their delicious, homemade fries, and you’ve reached burger heaven! Just a tip: avoid ordering a large fries for each person. You’ll likely end up either with leftovers, tossing some out, or feeling uncomfortably stuffed.

While I haven’t tried every burger spot in town, I have sampled many, and Five Guys stands out as my favorite. Their menu features burgers made to order with a wide range of toppings. The staff at the grill cooked our burgers perfectly. The fries are freshly hand-cut, and they even display a sign showing where the potatoes come from each day. The young woman who took our order was patient and very helpful. It was a lovely evening, so we chose to sit outside on the sturdy and comfortable patio furniture. My wife and I shared our first date 16 years ago at a restaurant just a few doors down in the Battlefield Mall, and by a wonderful coincidence, we ended up at Five Guys exactly 16 years later. Thank you, Five Guys, for an exceptional anniversary dinner!

The cooks were really friendly, and the person taking our order gave us some excellent suggestions. When my grandson and I sat down to eat, he said hello to the cooks, who responded warmly and playfully. It’s a fantastic place—though a little pricey, I’ll definitely return. The hot dog was absolutely delicious!
