Mainly I love this location because it is very close to my house. It has all your typical gas station fare, so I can't see how I can dock it any stars. Offers food as well and their Pizza is pretty good
So tired of coming in here in the morning before work and getting side eyed and being disrespected for being BLACK by this older CAUCASIAN woman. I?m a local a hard working Man OH AND AMERICAN since that?s what they like to hear so much here in Missouri..I shouldn?t get treatment like such EVER..I?ll never get gas here again. I?ll miss the pizza and donuts but the hell with this establishment..DO BETTER
Visiting from out of town and stopped by to try and buy cigarettes. Was told that because my ID is not a drivers license and from out of state they can not sell to me. So basically Casey's doesn't want to sell goods to people who don't live in their community?! This is after selling to me two days ago and last week. When I told the person behind the counter this ifo she fallowed with it's a new policy. I and my family in the area will no longer be going to Casey's. Which is sad because we normally there at least 4-5 times a week. Kim and go had no problem with my out of state ID.
When I come back to Springfield, I always have to stop here. I was raised in a town who 's only store was a Casey 's, so I 'm very partial to their food. The pizza is BOMB. Like really though, dynamite. The cookies make me feel like I 've tasted a small piece of heaven, if heaven had a taste. This specific store is on my list because the employees generally rock. It must be on the application, one must know how to rock ones sock off before applying ! Love.
Despite a mix of positive and negative experiences, Casey's General Store in Springfield seems to have a loyal customer base. Some complain about issues with the payment system, while others praise the convenience and quality of the food, particularly the pizza and cookies. The friendly staff receive both praise and criticism, with some customers feeling valued and others feeling ignored. Overall, it appears that the store may have experienced a decline in quality in recent years, but it still holds a special place in the hearts of many customers, both locals and visitors alike.

The staff at Casey's is friendly, but the restaurant's quality has noticeably declined since 2022. They are frequently understaffed, and the soda fountains often run out of products. The Powerade, which used to be carbonated, now tastes like plain water. The pizza kept in the hot cabinet always looks dry and seems to have been sitting there long past its freshness time. While some employees provide good service, others are quite poor. Overall, Casey's has gone from being excellent to struggling over the past two years.
The pay-at-the-pump system is a mess. It kept asking for a membership card number, but I’m not a member, so it kept declining my transaction when I refused to enter my phone number. I already entered my zip code—that should be enough. After six failed attempts, I gave up and went to Flying J. It’s an overly complicated process, and I saw several other customers having the same frustrating experience. Casey’s needs to fix this—nobody has time for a twenty-question interrogation at the pump.
Wow, the bathrooms here are awful! It doesn't seem like anyone ever cleans them.

This is my go-to place! My friend’s son works there, and he's always genuinely ready to help with whatever you need. Tasha, who works the third shift, is absolutely delightful—never short on conversation. The staff is efficient, getting you in and out quickly while always making sure to greet you and send you on your way with a smile. It's my favorite spot, and I often stay longer than I should, demanding a bit more attention than usual, but they don’t mind at all. They just let me be myself and smile while I do it. I give it 5 stars—definitely the best gas station in town!
Every time I return to Springfield, I make sure to stop by this place. I grew up in a town where the only store was a Casey's, so I have a special fondness for their food. The pizza is absolutely amazing — seriously, it's like an explosion of flavor. The cookies are like a tiny taste of heaven, if heaven had a flavor. This particular location is a favorite of mine because the staff is fantastic. It must be part of the hiring process: "you must know how to rock someone's socks off to apply!" I just love it.
