The restaurant promises a unique fusion of Puerto Rican and Chinese cuisine, intriguing many with its bold concept. However, feedback reveals significant inconsistencies. While some guests praised generous portions and flavorful dishes, others were disappointed by undercooked rice and overly salty meats. Service issues, including premature closing times, further compounded frustration for eager patrons. Despite a few positive remarks on specific items, the overall dining experience seems marred by quality concerns. Diners are left divided, with some expressing a willingness to return for exploration, while others vowed to stay away after unsatisfactory meals. Proceed with caution!.

Puerto Rican style Chinese food. The premise sounds weird to those untrained, but let me tell you right now: this is gonna be some of the best-tasting, most flavorfully bursting, wonderfully seasoned food you've ever eaten. And you get A LOOOOT of it. I suggest pepper steak combo. You'll have food for 3 days after eating your in-restaurant portion, too!Look, I know it sounds weird. I thought it sounded weird too. Jus... What Rosemary Becker dislikes about Borichino:
The rice was terrible ham in the rice was practically raw. The chicken so salty I couldn’t swallow pause.. I was excited to try this place and I left disappointed as hell lol. Then they charge you 14-15 bucks for food that is barely edible the best part of my orange chicken combo was the French fries. So yea basically paid 15 bucks for some French fries good day yea? This place feels like a Chinese restaurant with a Spanish twist. I would recommend scanning the barcode to see a fresh selection. The portion sizes are generous, which is a plus. However, I found the rice a bit lacking; it needed to be boiled longer, and there were some odd small bits in it that I couldn't quite identify (which I ended up discarding). I had so many leftovers that I took them home for my kids. I cooked the rice a little more, but those strange bits remained. On a positive note, the flavor was still quite good. The garlic cloves that were served along with the dish didn't appeal to me either, even though I'm a big fan of garlic and use it in everything. They had a peculiar taste that I can't quite put my finger on. I'm generally not a picky eater and enjoy trying everything. I plan to return and explore other items on their menu.
I heard great things about this restaurant and was excited to visit. Their website mentioned they close around 7:45, but when I arrived at 6:20, the server told me they were already closed. I don’t understand the inconsistency. I was ready to spend my money, but it seems they’ve lost a customer because of this experience. I don't plan to return if they don't make an effort to accommodate guests. Good luck keeping the business running!
However, the food was a bit of a disappointment. While the flavors were good, everything was just too salty for my taste. I had the orange chicken with rice and tostones, while my best friend ordered the pepper steak with rice and tostones. All six dishes were excessively salty and nearly inedible. They really need to reduce the salt in their recipes. If it weren't for that issue, I would have rated this place five stars. The staff was incredibly friendly, and their customer service was excellent; even the owner was very welcoming. The restaurant was also very clean, and the bathroom had a pleasant smell. My only recommendation is to cut back on the salt in their food.
Very disappointed. rice was hard and not well cooked. not even adding soy sauce, made it tasteful. I bought 3 orders and spent over $50. I had chicken and brokkoli, roast pork and boneless savings books. neither had the right puertorican aromen.
