Bob Edith's Diner - Springfield
Bob Edith's Diner
Description
Bob Edith's is a historic fast food diner known for its breakfasts, offering a mix of disappointing dinners and pleasant surprises. While some diners found the food subpar and service lacking, others enjoyed the delicious B&E Burger and fantastic country fried steak. The atmosphere can be noisy, but the staff work hard to keep things running smoothly. Some patrons experienced slow service and technical issues with payment, so it's advisable to bring cash just in case. Overall, the experience can vary from disappointing to thoroughly enjoyable, making it worth a visit for the diner feel and classic comfort food.

I really enjoy coming to Bob Edith’s. It’s a nice restaurant with a local diner feel. I ordered the country fried steak and loved it. The gravy was really tasty. My friend enjoyed his omelet as well. Only minor criticism is that I wish they had eggs Benedicts.
Meh. Arrived there at 8:45am for breakfast. Food was standard diner food. Service was fast and pleasant enough. My biggest complaint is that it was super noisy. Between the kitchen, which I understand will be loud, and the background music which was thumping nightclub music, I couldn’t stand it. I ate fast, which I think pleased the waitress, and left.
Only stopped in for the restroom but my boyfriend said the breakfast was amazing
I was really surprised by the service tonight! It was very slow, and my chili arrived cold—I noticed they just microwaved it to warm it up, but it was still chilly. I had to ask for sauce twice. The restaurant was dirty as well. Usually, this place is great when we come for breakfast, but not tonight. Very disappointed!
