This place has a small town / old school vibe that has plus points and minus. we were in a little hurry and did not expect to wait 20 minutes for two sandwiches (I called about 5 minutes before and they said it would take 10 minutes); but a person was responsible for making sandwiches and drinks and she was someone to train so that might have contributed. the older load owner from the adjacent home-made business (the owner of both) has plagued me while I have waited. it was hard to harass because the staff all friendly and the eating was delicious at a good price. we got the chicken salad sandwich and truthahn panini, each pretty good and they came with ruffles and apexes for each $12. we also ordered a Chai-Latte, which was on the menu for only $3 (no military kit available), but the order canceled due to our haste so that we do not try. we got a chic chocolate shop. I would go back if I ordered or planned in advance to cross the gift shop and adjacent flower shop while I was on eating and drinking.

I am 50 and I am pretty sure this place is older than me. It is fantastic and the prices are good and the service is great! I order a Reuben every time I come to a new place. Undoubtedly, the Busy Bee has the best Rueben I have had in the Eugene/Springfield area. I went back for breakfast and again prices service and food just great. There is a reason this place always seems busy. Whatever it is, this place has got it.

Friendly service and a cute atmosphere. The portions were big and the food was delicious, especially the gravy. The biscuit was a bit dry and I'm not sure if it's from being heated up in the microwave. Would definitely come back. Took pictures of the Menu.
