A great home like feeling! Reminds my of my favorite breakfast place in Chicago. Foods great and so is the service! My pie was so good I took a bite before I took a picture.
2nd time in and still love this place. It’s located in a truck stop but really popular with the locals too so it stays busy. Everyone that worked there seemed genuinely glad to have you there First off, SOUPS! They have the best homemade soup around. This time it was chicken and stars and a beef barley. I had both and they were excellent. I also got a chicken fried steak that was a huge portion with mashed spuds and a choice of gravy. The menu has Italian, American and even Greek? The local delicacy is the Horseshoe which is an open faced sandwich with a liberal covering of cheese whiz. I tried it the time before and the cheese whiz was a bit much so caveat emptor on that. Do NOT pass on the homemade desserts. The cheesecake rocks! If this place was local I’d be in there all the time.

Ordered shrimp Alfredo pasta hint flower and water has more flavor of Alfredo than your Alfredo sauce had which I honestly believe is what you are trying to pass off as Alfredo sauce noodles were not fully cooked served with a gummy and bleached taste shrimp was only good piece of the meal of which I had approximately 6 shrimp in entire plate overall worst shrimp Alfredo I have ever eaten garlic bread was soaked in garlic no bread taste and not well toasted then to desert oreo cheesecake that ha … – show
