Recently dined at Golden House (for the second time). As we were a group of five, we ordered one of the banquets. It included favourites such as mixed entrees, chicken and sweetcorn soup, san choi bow, sizzling beef, and curries. The food was delicious and plentiful. What User doesn't like about Golden House Vietname & Chinese Cuisine:
Truthfully, I was sincerely debating to leave the restaurant after the waitress slopped our soups over the edge of the bowl onto the floor and then proceeded to leave it there for the remainder of our meal - stepping over it or in it when she bothered to attend our table. The food was okay but I think the lack of attention and hygiene detracted from meal. I have not been back to this restaurant since. View all feedback.
Wonderful place to have Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. The food was great, better than the ones I have tried at Inala. The staff were friendly and when we asked for something, they immediately gave us what we wanted. Thank you for dinner. Haven't had food this delicious in years at an Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant.
My favorite dishes include the Szechuan prawns and the Peking duck, although the duck requires 24 hours notice as it is cooked on site. The Pho is always flavorful and filling, although not always consistent. Other dishes such as Mongolian sizzling beef, honey lemon chicken, and fried rice have also been excellent. The only downside is the location, but the food is reasonably priced considering its quality. The service is always attentive and overall, I would highly recommend dining here. The food quality is the main highlight, earning the majority of my marks.
I was quite pleased with Golden House for my dinner. While where is a number of good quality Asian restaurants in Springfield Golden House can hold it's own. Both dishes I ordered where authentic and quite tasty. If you haven't eaten at Golden House I would recommend you give it a try.
This restaurant serves delicious authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It is a welcome addition to the Springfield area, offering both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. We have visited multiple times since it opened a few months ago and have been consistently impressed with the quality of the Vietnamese food, particularly the spicy beef noodle soup which is the best we've had. The portion sizes are generous and the pho is also very good. The restaurant offers great value for money, with a clean and friendly atmosphere. The chef has experience working in a well-known Viet/Chinese restaurant in Darra, which explains the authenticity of the food. We are happy that we no longer have to drive to Inala or Darra for delicious Vietnamese food.
The Lemon Chicken and Prawns in Ginger and Shallots at this restaurant are incredibly tasty. The lemon sauce is delicious and the prawns are large and flavorful.
