What User doesn't like about Lucy's Bakery:
Foul. I was hoping to find a local option for Pan Dulce instead of walking to Panchitas in Logan Heights. (I am loyal to great finds). But this place was so disappointing. To be fair, I came later in the evening, so please in the head. Experience as follows: Customer service? No. Selection: limited. How was the Pandulce? Try and cost 10 if 12 items. As always, this place is excellent. This was my first time in this place as I usually go. The bread is soft and delicious, the meat is perfect, the Friijole are delicious, and the Mayo is so delicious.
They're really nice. They offered everything I was looking for (the Mexican cheesecakes and concha's) among many different types of cookies. It was fast and I paid in cash. They didn't take card payments.
Bread is fine here. The cemitas are good, but I prefer the ones on 31st
Pan dulce, birrotes, tamales for Xmas and customer service was stellar. Pan was fresh and the nice gentleman helped me out with my goodies when they noticed I had my hands full with a baby carrier kiddos. Sweet people working and the tamales sold during Christmas time were banana wrapped chicken con salsa roja and pork con salsa verde options were delicious.
I 've been coming here for years and it sucks to say but they 're racist and discriminate people by their appearances. My grandma was the recently and they thought she was stealing so the whole time a woman was standing behind her while she chose what pastry she was going to buy. My grandma thought it was weird she wouldn 't leave her side so my grandma asked do you think I 'm going to steal and the lady replied with no but you 're gonna eat it without paying Este lugar es racista y discrimina a la gente por sus apariencias. Mi abuelita de casi 80 años fue discriminada y pensaban que intenta robarse el pan. Una mujer está detrás de ella todo el tiempo que estuvo de la tienda. Entonces mi abuela pregunto piensas que intento robar? Y la señora dice no pero se lo va a comer sin pagar. No lo pude creer Mi abuela tiene años que va y nunca me la habían tardado así. Si gustas pan racista aquí es tu lugar!!!
