Overall, it was a decent experience, but the chili was too watery for my liking. I ordered hash browns fully loaded, and the chili just didn't meet my expectations. On top of that, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was getting some strange looks from other patrons. As a truck driver, I was in my pajamas when I walked in, and it felt like I was being stared at. I understand it's a Waffle House and not a church, but maybe it was just my imagination.

I also requested water but had to ask again because it never arrived. The server dropped off the check when we weren’t even halfway through our meal. At that time, I had to ask for jelly since we hadn’t received any. What made matters worse was seeing him take the time to prepare a drink and food for himself while clearly ignoring our needs. I understand the challenges of being a server, but prioritizing your one table before taking a break should be basic courtesy. The restaurant had only five occupied tables, including ours, and three of them left shortly after we arrived. From what I could see, we were his only table. The food was decent, but it’s frustrating that the service is always lacking here. I don’t have high expectations for a place like this, but I would appreciate receiving at least the basics when I do decide to visit.
