I love everything about this place. I always get the special. The waiting staff is attentive. The cook is amazing. It is made of “work of the room” to ensure that your meal came perfect. ONLY BYOB and CASH. Reservations a must.
A coastal village. With an Italian heritage, this place recalls little Italy in NYC. We wanted to get a light meal and settle down on salads. Generous portion sizes with fresh ingredients. Order the orange salad and the Burrata salad. Quick, fresh and friendly!
Inviting, small restaurant with really great food. The mussels appetizer was the best I had. Godiva Chicken was an incredible treat! The sauce was not too sweet, but the perfect balance. The chicken was crispy and the vegetables and the potatoes were perfect. I live in South Jersey, an hour away, but drive back to this restaurant!
We came to Arugula for my father's birthday after we had heard great reviews about the food. Chief George and the staff have not disappointed, and this is an attempt! We will definitely be back for the delicious and unique experience!
Just got take out from Arugula and the food was great. I had the Lamb Osso Bucca and my wife had the Chicken Piccata. The lamb was just right, fork tender and the potatoes and veggies were good as well, all smothered in a wonderful gravy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her dish as well. The only reason I didn't go for the fifth star is we couldn't get a reservation, so had to go with take out. The price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend Arugula Spring Lake.
