It seems they had a very different experience with Fish X 2 than I have had over the past few years. The service here has always been friendly, and when they’re busy, they communicate when to expect your order, and they deliver on that promise! There aren’t many places where you can find fish cooked with minimal batter that isn’t overcooked. This is one of only a handful of restaurants in the Grand Haven area that truly knows how to cook fish, particularly perch.

Apparently, they had been misled about the fish, and this seemed to be a recurring issue. However, in my experience over the years, I've found the service to be friendly. When they’re busy, they communicate how long it will take for your order, and they stick to that timeline. There aren’t many places where you can enjoy fish cooked well without a heavy batter and at the right temperature. This is one of only three spots in the Grand Haven area that truly knows how to prepare fish, especially cash!
