Finn's Chophouse Speakeasy

I give him 4 stars and not 5 easy because there were so many things they didn't have on the drinks and food menus. pretty much our waitress started the conversation. the hostess had no personality, but the waitress was more than built on it. in our group of 6 we had the filet, prime rib and skallops. for appetizers we had the steak bruschetta (ammern), cranberry baked braut and the figs and burrata crostinis. for the side we had the mushrooms and the nuts and bacon (excellent). we also had their special truffles baked kartoffel (average). we tried their suppe and nobody in our group made sure. it was not served very hot and was very fishy by smell and taste. the escaped were exellent. I had the 10oz filet and it was perfectly cooked. I also tasted the main rib and it was so perfect that I must go back for it. my steak was a bit cold when he was served, but nevertheless he tasted good. Not sure I would rate it as the best steak I had, but definitiw in the top 5. the atmosphere was very nice and we would definitely go back. it would be nice if they list a phone number to call and make a reservation instead of simply doing it online.

We had fun. we tried a series of things and enjoyed them all. I'm just gonna take one star out and take only one half star if I could. my steak came under boiled for what I ordered. the other steaks came out well. ask them not to stand one table. (very unpleasant for 4 people)

Beautiful evening dinner on Friday. enjoy a perfectly prepared 10 unzen filet mignon with lobster ****, huhn and house made dumplings and a ribeye for our 3 top. also the house and the Caesar salads. World-class dinner. we were recommended for 2018 cade cabernet sauvignon. fantastic selection. one of our best dinners. we are coming back!

We celebrated two birthdays at finn. the whole experience was great. the service was professional and friendly. our group enjoyed the table setting as well as the atmosphere. that was great. the meal ended with a classic cream' brulee and it was excellent. I recommend this place for a great place to celebrate.
