We had our wedding on June 24, 2023, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptional, and the food was delicious. The venue is beautiful and offers plenty of great photo opportunities! While the rooms could use some updates, they were generally acceptable. Considering the overall value for the price we paid, it was worthwhile for us. The staff and management truly exceeded our expectations! Room rating:... View all feedback.
What Gmail Account doesn't like about Doolan's Shore Club:
This place is really just a pretty facade. They've made some improvements, but it's not worth the cost. If they focused more on comfortable pillows and mattresses, it could be quite nice. Unfortunately, it's only deserving of a 2-star rating. Rooms: 2/5. View all feedback.
First off update the website. The reason for choosing Doolan's was the Saturday date night menu which it turns out wasn't offered. When we arrived there was only one table occupied and it was by 3 very obnoxious middle aged women who were pretty toasted. They were very loud and fawning over the Mexican waiter taking selfie after selfie. Once they left I thought things would get better but it only went downhill from there. Being that Doolans is a catering hall (which I honesty didn't realize) hotel there was an affair going on. The thumping bass from the affair room and the top 40 being played in the restaurant didn't get along with each other and neither did my head. By the time my dinner arrived I was in no mood to eat and asked for it to wrapped. A second visit seems very unlikely.
The pictures of the entrance and lobby are very nice so we booked the place. When we got there, however, the room we stayed in was kind of shabby and not very nice. The furniture was old, bent, sticky in places. The chair was broken. However, the banquet hall was all ready, set for a wedding, and the pool was nice to experience. We wanted the place for the pool. There is also a small bar by the pool which we didn 't use. The hotel is close to the beach and restaurants in Spring Lake, a good location. We paid less than we would have at The Breakers on the Ocean, (which was sold out), so we got less. Kiernan mentioned to my husband upon checkout that they 're going to be making some improvements to curtains and air conditioners. I would paint the walls though and install new furniture instead of air conditioners because the air worked fine. It was quiet with not many people. Overall, our stay was just okay .Rooms: Our room needed help. Renovations would be a very good thing.
The hotel is of course very pleasant with the pool and the bar service which was very good the whole 5 days. The only cons were: the breakfast which was not a surprise because announced continental but just the lack of staff and the several main things missing (sugar, bread, milk… and to finish the condition of the room. The toilets were moving and the entrance door not closing and having to push with my whole body to be able to open it.According to the night rate 270$, there are several things to change because it is not worth it.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Doolans Shore Club! Everytime we go here for dinner or a special occasion the food, service, and attention to detail is amazing! Truly a gem of the Jersey Shore!
Not impressed. the nativity of my man was tasty as the laughter of my escape. but that's the best I can say. my escape should be accompanied by a crispy sweet-coleslaw and lenses. before I could say something, the runner who laid the plate was gone. Our waitress was nowhere to find and did not want my meal to get cold, I started eating the escape. when I explained the problem of the person who came to check for our meal (not our waitress,) he looked at me as if I had two heads. at this point, I also made the decision to eat the spasm, as it would have been waiting for the spare sides to end his meal while I wait. the next person who stop at the table to check on dinge (but not our waitress) told me when I explained the problem that there is no escape on the menu that contain these pages! I asked her to get me a menu and I'd show her. do I need more?
