It used... read more The food was enjoyable, but unfortunately, various factors such as the economy and increasing prices have made dining out significantly more expensive. It used to be a great deal at Checkers. I ordered a tasty burger, some of the best fries I've ever had, and a banana shake, but now the combo meal costs at least $2-3 more than at other fast food places. My boyfriend and I wound up spending $25 on lunch, which just isn't reasonable anymore. I doubt we’ll return!

However, I found myself waiting in the... read more I visited this restaurant after work, as I’m a manager in the restaurant industry and understand the challenges involved. However, I found myself waiting in the drive-thru for nearly 20 minutes or more. During that time, I noticed the employees dropping off food to customers, and I couldn’t tell how long it had been sitting there. I saw one employee working incredibly hard while two others were present; one seemed to just be observing the others rather than helping. I'm not impressed and I won’t be returning, which is disappointing. A shout-out to the two employees who were working diligently. Unfortunately, my meal was incomplete, and I’m hesitant to even eat it. Management really needs to address these issues! Update: I attempted to reheat my food, and it was absolutely awful. I feel like I wasted money that could have gone to a more deserving place. Management needs to truly step up and resolve these problems!

The Big Burford is my favo... read more I requested extra onions on two Big Burfords, but I ended up with no lettuce, no tomatoes, and just one small onion on each sandwich! The Big Burford is my favorite burger, and the purple onions really enhance the flavors—my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Instead, I'm feeling totally disappointed. The Mariner location in Spring Hill needs to improve. The service and effort were lacking. I might have to consider trying a different fast food chain!
