Flavors are on point! You will not be disappointed with the french fries collard greens. There were two thing I didn't like, and it's a personal preference, 1) is the fried fish is swai not catfish 2) the peach cobbler crust was soggy not crispy. But again the spices on the batter for the fish were delicious ???? the peach ???? cobbler tasted like peach cobbler . Now myhusband ordered their burger ???? that thing was huge! It wasn't huge because they stuffed it full of fillers like tomatoes lettuce. It was huge because of the size of the patty! He is a self proclaimed burger connoisseur he have it 2 thumbs upwith a big smile! funny but not funny but some restaurants advertise peach cobbler and it does not have a flavor profile ofpeach cobbler ????
The staff every time I?ve interacted with them have been extremely nice. The food is really good and it?s always on time when I order ahead it?s family-owned. Very flavorful food definitely give this place a go
My friend and I stopped in to Teague's BBQ this past weekend. After first being impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, we ordered the loaded baked potato with chopped brisket, a sausage sandwich and pineapple pudding. The food wasdelish!!! We'll definitely be visiting again soon.
I gave this place a 4 star cause I couldn't do 3.5. The candied yams are on point. They taste just as grandma would make them without being overly syrupy. The peach cobbler is decent to good. I'd prefer the crust have been cooked longer to give it moreof a crunchy feel and taste but it was good and excellent slice portions. The sausage on the bbq plate was tasty and not overlycooked nor charred. The baked potato was as advertised. The chicken and pulled pork... Drier than the Saharan Desert. Goodsized portions... just drier than hair of an electrocuted human. The potato salad was solid. They give GOOD portions so there'sbang for the buck here. Just make sure you get a lot of sauce with the chicken and pulled pork.
I've been here a few times in the past and loved it but lately it's been absolutely disgusting. The complete order was wrong, the staff didn't care at all and to top it off there was hair in the peach cobbler. Honestly circle K has better bbq than this place now. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
