Great local sushi and Chinese spot. I usually avoid fusion restaurants because you never know if the chef can get both cuisines right, but this was not the case. We got the kung pao beef and about 4 sushi rolls and it was delicious. Staff was very friendly and catered to all our needs will definitely be coming back very soon!
We’ve been going to this Creekside Akashi since it’s opening. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable about the food and take the time to answer any questions. We never feel rushed and the food is delicious! We complimented the manager today on her and her staff and felt the better compliment would be sharing it with others. Check it out if you haven’t already done so.
Disappointing. The duck was not at all what is advertised on their menu. Its breaded and dry, there is more breading than duck. Very disappointing for 17$ and comes on top of lettuce, what a joke. The white rice is mushy. The chicken fried rice was ok.
Been a big Jade's fan for a while, decided to try something different. Akashi didn't disappoint, the food was good and hot(even after taking it home). Will definitely be going back.
I have been there last Friday, 9/30/22 6.30p beautiful decor and clean. server was new, so she was a bit lusted, but the service was a problem that last time I was there. she always had to remember bringing our drinks. I went into the bar myself to find out they were from what I ordered. the sushi combo b. paper thin thunfish, salmon and an avocado roll. we are not going back.
Akashi offers a visually appealing dining experience with a diverse menu featuring both Japanese and Chinese cuisine. While many patrons enjoy the fresh ingredients and vibrant atmosphere, some have expressed dissatisfaction with inconsistent service and occasional forgetfulness regarding orders. Though dishes like the custom vegetarian roll and various sushi options receive praise for their flavor, others note that certain meals lean towards sweeter, local American tastes. Despite mixed reviews on service speed and food consistency, many diners appreciate the friendly staff and the overall value, suggesting that it remains a worthwhile spot for fusion cuisine enthusiasts.

This place was pretty hit or miss for a while after it opened. Hey have always had great sushi but the service was questionable. They have dialed that in quite a bit and are now our go to local sushi joint. Very cool restaurant will good sushi and good service.
Food is the best I've had for years, definitely the best authentic restaurant for 40 miles. The service was exactly perfect, timing, knowledge, and willingness to customize was extraordinary! The building and ambiance was exquisite, can bring large parties to intimate dinners. Excellent place!!
Was seated quickly, food was great and our waitress was top notch. Nice clean atmosphere.
Great food and always my got to spot. Most of my orders are to-go and I have never had a missing item or something incorrect.
Tried going here for lunch and was very disappointed with the sushi. The non-sushi entrees looked good, but the sushi didn't taste fresh and just tasted like flavorless blobs of fish. The service and restaurant itself were both great so three stars for that. I would not recommend it based on the food though.

???? Our first time, I believe we will be back soon! The quality of the dishes are very good, the presentation is beautiful! The atmosphere is super nice, modern and clean! The service is very kind and attentive! It is a great option in thearea, for those who enjoy Japanese and Chinese food, as the menu has an option for both cuisines, this is great!! Thank ourwaiter for his kindness!
The restaurant offered an extensive selection of food. The ambiance was clean and enjoyable. While some dishes were tasty, they didn't leave a lasting impression. The Japanese Teriyaki dinner was notably sweet, likely tailored to appeal to local American tastes. Our waitress, Annabell, was extremely polite and attentive, ensuring excellent service throughout our dining experience.
I visited the restaurant last Friday, September 30th, 2022, at 6:30 PM. The decor was appealing, and the place was clean. However, the server appeared to be new and somewhat overwhelmed, which wasn't surprising as I've noticed service issues during my previous visits too. I had to repeatedly remind her to bring our drinks, and I eventually went to the bar myself, only to discover that the drink I ordered was out of stock. I ordered the sushi combo B, which included paper-thin slices of tuna, salmon, and an avocado roll. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to this restaurant.
We have dined at this restaurant for lunch three times in the past month, and every visit has been a delightful experience. The quality, portion sizes, freshness, and pricing have all been outstanding. The service was not only attentive but also very welcoming. I can’t believe we didn’t discover this gem earlier, especially since it’s just a few miles from our home.
