**Dining Experience at Akashi: A Mixed Bag of Delights and Disappointments** Akashi presents a blend of Japanese and Chinese cuisines that often impress, boasting high-quality sushi, creative rolls, and standout dishes like the Ahi Tower appetizer. However, experiences vary widely. Customers have praised friendly, efficient service and fast seating, yet some report inconsistency in food quality and presentation. Issues include oversized sushi pieces, less-than-impressive ginger, and a less appealing atmosphere with barriers at the sushi bar. While many patrons recommend visiting during peak hours for better service, some experienced a decline in quality during late-night visits. Overall, Akashi is worth a try, but with tempered expectations.

Really good sushi at affordable price. They also have blue fin tuna. Quiet place. Good atmosphere.

The sushi was tasty, but the pieces were a bit too large, which meant I had to split each bite in half. The spicy edamame was delicious and they provided a generous portion. The highlight of my visit was definitely the service, which was excellent. I plan to return to determine whether my experience was average or if it was just an off day. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Came here on a Saturday around 5 pm, the seating was quick and the service was fast, they had fresh ginger, wasabi, good soy sauce, sake, fresh fish/clean cuts, all the key points I look for in a good sushi restaurant and chef. They also had a Chinese food side of the menu but I got all Japanese foodUpdate, came here Friday around 930pm, would not recommend, horrible presentation, cuts were bad, uneven, sticky table, servers rushed us out more or less, taking our plates without asking if we were done. When I commented to the server about the presentation, was told about 5min of excuses you would expect from a Taco Bell or McDonald 's, complaining about hours and customers coming in late, and how they don 't care after a certain time . Definitely come lunch to dinner, they after dinner service is regrettable

I have always had a great experience at every location I've visited. I go to the Spring location most often, and we absolutely love it there. The service is outstanding, and the food is consistently delicious. They have an incredible sushi menu with something for everyone. The fusion section is also noteworthy, offering a variety of tasty options alongside the classic favorites. Don't miss out on trying the soups and the Lady Gaga Roll—you won't regret it!

We've been savoring fantastic sushi from this Akashi location for years, and we've never encountered a disappointing dish. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious sushi in a peaceful setting. The staff is friendly, and the food is served promptly. Two thumbs up!
