We frequent this location of Akashi because it has the best sushi outside of the Woodlands in this area. The blend of Japanese and Chinese food works very well, and I will admit it initially made us hesitant to give it a try. The sushi was tasty, but the pieces were a bit too large, which meant I had to split each bite in half. The spicy edamame was delicious and they provided a generous portion. The highlight of my visit was definitely the service, which was excellent. I plan to return to determine whether my experience was average or if it was just an off day. I haven't had any negative experiences at the restaurants I've visited. I often go to my favorite one, and we absolutely love it. The service is excellent, and the food is consistently great. They offer an impressive sushi menu with options for everyone. Their fusion dishes are also quite tasty. There’s a good variety of standard options available too. I recommend trying the soups and the Lady Gaga roll—you won't be disappointed!
We have been enjoying excellent sushi from this Akashi location for years, and we have never had a bad experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking delicious sushi in a serene atmosphere. The waiting staff is friendly, and the food is served promptly. Overall, it's a fantastic place!
This is my second visit here, and I have to say that the service has really gone downhill. The wait time was excessive, and there were several issues with our orders. However, I still recommend this place for its great food and overall atmosphere.

Food and presentation were good and waitstaff was attentive. Low rating due to atmosphere. The plastic partition at the sushi bar is non appealing and eliminates direct communication with the sushi chefs
