The Mango Tree
4.1 / 5 (3918 reviews)

Description

The Mango Tree offers a diverse array of dishes, with standout selections like the Spinach Dip and Butter Chicken frequently highlighted by patrons. Many rave about the authentic flavors and the accommodating vegetarian options, including Chana Masala. However, service has garnered mixed feedback; lengthy waits and inattentive staff dampen the experience for some diners. While the ambiance appears lacking, the friendliness of the staff shines through. Overall, if you're in search of satisfying Indian cuisine in downtown Spokane, The Mango Tree is worth a visit—just be prepared for potential service hiccups.

For someone used to the Indian food options in the Bay area, the food here wasn't too behind. Dal makhani was a bit sweet. Kadai paneer was decent. The staff were courteous and quick to serve our order!

I had the most wonderful late lunch experience at The Mango Tree in downtown Spokane. Visiting during Pig Out in the Park, the atmosphere was already vibrant, but what truly elevated the experience was the fantastic service we received from Robert.Arriving at 3:30 PM on August 31st, Robert greeted us with a warm and genuine smile that instantly set the tone for our meal. His enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were infectious, and he made us feel right at home. It's not every day that you come across a server who is not only attentive but also genuinely fun to be around.Robert's recommendations were spot-on. We decided to try the Mango Chicken Salad and the Indian Kitchen Salad, and they were both beyond delicious. The flavors were a perfect blend of savory and refreshing, and it was evident that the ingredients were of high quality. What truly stood out was the inviting ambiance of The Mango Tree. The interior was tastefully decorated, exuding a cozy and welcoming vibe. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and truly savor the moment. The attentive staff and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in Spokane, I wholeheartedly recommend The Mango Tree. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for a great spot to enjoy a late lunch, this is the place to be. The combination of exceptional service, delightful food, and an inviting ambiance makes The Mango Tree a true gem in downtown Spokane. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!Vegetarian options: 1/2 the menuKid-friendliness: Very open restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Easy and straightforwardDietary restrictions: Just ask

This restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options, as well as take-out service. It is conveniently located near the main downtown shopping area.

The samosas were fantastic, but the main dishes, although delicious, were on the smaller side for the price.
