Service was great and the bartender was super friendly and helpful!

I had the Republic I score it a 7.8 only cuz the Center... read more You had me at “wood fired” !! Thin, crispy crust a real Dave Portnoy “drop my d$&k on the floor” crust. I had the Republic I score it a 7.8 only cuz the Center was a little soft. A little slow on service but it was jammin busy in there. The lovely young lady across from me had a salad eye roll) tasted so good and chicken was cooked perfectly.

We called in advance and asked about reservations and we were told first come f... read more Struggling a bit with this review. We had a large party 11 adults and 1 toddler. We called in advance and asked about reservations and we were told first come first served. So we arrived early at about 5:35pm and asked about a table for 11. The initial contact person went and got someone else who came back and told us 45 mins. Ok we said but then she told us we should just go across the way to another place . That’s when the weird vibes started as we decided to wait. This person either clearly didn’t want a large party or small children. When we told her we would wait and head to the bar. The bartender was great but then this same person told us we couldn’t stand and we needed to sit so they did but then we were told we could sit in the area she told us to sit at. Everyone else was so nice and happy with our large group but this person. It was so odd. I even asked her what we were doing wrong and if she didn’t want us there. We finally got a table after an hour and then we sat and we didn’t get menus. It was like miss bad vibes blue hair was trying to make us wait longer. Who knows. But luckily our waiter Dan changed the entire vibe of our dinner. He was attentive and got our menus and our orders rolling. Luckily the food was great. The Brussel sprouts were beyond charred but the pizza was great. We left a nice tip for Dan and the bartender. Hopefully they don’t have to share it with miss bad vibes.
