Osprey - Spokane
Osprey
Description
Osprey offers a picturesque dining experience with its beautiful riverside patio, but guests have reported a mix of highs and lows. The food, while sometimes delicious, can range from bland to disappointing, with notable inconsistencies in popular dishes. Service is often slow due to understaffing, leading to long waits for both food and checks. Despite these issues, many appreciate the friendly, attentive staff and the bustling, clean atmosphere that creates a lively dining environment. Overall, Osprey holds potential for a memorable meal but may require improvements in service and consistency to enhance the guest experience.

Todd was our waiter and served us one of the most delicious meals of our lives. The sauce on my pork was the most delicious sauce I have eaten since I lived in France in 1985. The ambiance on the patio along the river is pure delight. We’ve been onthe road and were weary when we arrived. Todd’s excellent service and our delicious meal are transformative. Eat here. You’ll be glad you decided to.
The service was extremely slow and the waitress seemed confused. We tried to add to our order but she never came back to check on us until we were already finished. It took a long time to receive the check. We hope this was just a one-time experience and are willing to give this restaurant another chance.
This is the second time we have had brunch at this restaurant and it has been extremely painfully slow service especially for the food coming out. This time we were actually on our way out the door without our food because we had tickets to something an hour and a half after we were seated and we still hadn't received our food over an hour later..... on our way to the car they stopped us and said our food was ready so we did come back and eat quickly and take half of it with us and to go boxes. The manager was quite apologetic however and he did give us a 30% discount. The food was okay but I'm not sure I will be back, at least not for brunch since they are known for being so slow.
We enjoyed breakfast on the riverfront patio and it was a lovely morning! We shared the meat lovers omelet and each had a delicious mimosa!
Went out to dinner this past Saturday night before seeing play. Our food took an hour to come to the table and was mediocre at best. The restaurant was not busy enough for it to take an hour for our entrees. My pork tenderloin was tough, well done and dry. Both hamburgers my friends ordered were also well done and dry. But my husband liked his fish tacos! To make matters worse, the waiter mixed up the orders and we ended up paying for some of our friends' entrees. No need to ever go back there again.
