The second was Spicy Chicken... read more We had two take away dishes Wednesday, 05/29/2024 just before closing time. The first was Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The second was Spicy Chicken Fettuccine. When we got home and attempted to eat, they were both terribly salty. The Fettuccine Alfredo was supposed to have Grilled Chicken. Instead it had Parmesan Panko Chicken, which was the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen and it looked as though it had been boiled with its light tan color. The Spicy Chicken Alfredo was even saltier than the first dish. My partner wasn’t able to eat it, even after attempting to add fresh cream to the sauce and then a raw potato to absorb some of the salt. The two meals were nearly $50 that ended up being thrown away. When people go to an established, local restaurant, they should expect to receive food that is consistent in taste every time they go. Unfortunately we will have to tell people that The Onion no longer has kitchen staff who actually have cooking knowledge. As this was not the first time meals were not nearly as tasty as they used to be years ago. We tried giving them the benefit of the doubt last time. Now we will know that The Onion no longer values their customers and serves sub-par food. Very disappointing! Dietary restrictions: If you have a diet that restricts sodium intake, don’t bother to order from here. Food was heavily over salted and inedible!!
